Notes on Nutrition...

There's something to be said about having a fresh mix herbs on hand. You may have never thought you needed one, but once this broth becomes part of your life, you'll make sure you always have a mason jar full.

Herbs are powerful in many ways.

While, I'm not an herbalist, over the years I've created many herbal practices and have had incredible changes with them. This mix isn't exactly magic in a bottle, but it's many uses make it feel that way.

This herb mix is packed with with powerful herbs like, onion powder, garlic powder, sage, oregano, turmeric and many more. The combo of herbs used provides a nice mix of antioxidants, antibacterials, prebiotics, manganese, vitamin K and more!

Always select organic herbs whenever available or within your budget. Conventional herbs are often grown with a lot of pesticides and come through in high concentrations when dried.

Did you know...

Dried herbs are actually higher concentrated than fresh herbs, which means they are often more flavorful and beneficial.

Try this herb broth as a base for cooking quinoa or rice to give it a boost of flavor and nutrition.  Or use as the base for a vegetable stew or soup. You can even prepare it on its own to cozy up with on a cold winter's day, or even give it a try first thing in the morning if you're feeling a little hungover or dehydrated.

Throughout my recipes you'll see me mention this vegan broth recipe again and again. It's full of delicious ingredients such as turmeric (anti-inflammatory), celery salt (packed with minerals like manganese, iron and calcium), and parsley (vitamin A, C, E and abundant in antioxidants too). You'll use this more than you ever thought you would, I promise.
