Healthy Cereal Bowls

what's more nostalgic than cereal?

Nothing! I started craving cereal and I knew there had to be a way to “healthify” it.

So I checked out the ingredients I had on hand and started creating raw cereal bowls and now I am totally obsessed! Experimenting with healthy cereal is one of my favorite ways to start my day. These cereal bowls are packed with so many amazing nutrient dense foods and they tastes so good too! Bonus, they’ll keep you going all morning too.

Strawberry Banana Cereal Bowl

Bowl 

1 Sliced Banana
2-4 Strawberries
1 TBS Hempseeds
1/2 – 1 TBS Flaxmeal
1/2 C Crushed Pecans (or nuts of choice)

Blend
1 Date (depending on how sweet you want the bowl)
1 TSP Maca Powder
1 C Coconut Milk (or more)

Combine blended milk with bowl ingredients, stir and enjoy!

Top with peanut butter for added protein (it’s how the hubby likes it).

 

Crunchy Healthy Cereal Bowl

1 Sliced Banana
1-2 Handfuls of Berries
1 TBS Hempseeds
1/2 TSP Flaxmeal
1/4 TSP Shredded Coconut
1/2- 1 TSP GF Granola
1/2 C Crushed Pecans (or nuts of choice)
1/2 – 1 Sliced Date (depending on how sweet you want the bowl)
Coconut Milk

Top with peanut butter for added protein (it’s how the hubby likes it).

1 Apple (cut into bite size pieces)
1 TBS Hempseeds
1/2 TSP Flaxmeal
1/4 TSP Shredded Coconut
1/2 C Crushed Pecans (or nuts of choice)
Coconut Milk
